Great to help you take a look at both sides of the arguments for and against the use of electronic tagging in persons with AD.
The ethics of electronically tagging dementia or Alzheimer's patients is discussed here. I can certainly understand the dementia patient wanting to be able to roam free, and I do think being able to track them is a good idea. However, I don't think letting them roam around is safe for anyone, especially the dementia patient.
