This is the starting of a debate of whether to allow marijuana in the workplace. However, if it is medicinal purposes how can one be denied jobs such as driving trucks as it does alter mental status just like alcohol?

I believe the people in this article benefit from the marijuana they smoke. But there are millions of others who use it to self-medicate mental illnesses, which dull the results of the medication they have to take. Also many people use the drug because their lives are hopeless. I am still vehemently against the legalization of marijuana.
