An interesting read, and interesting research. In addition to highlighting new research, it provides an excellent metaphor of the metastatic process which could be helpful to the layperson's understanding of cancer in general. However, like so much news on research, it is making a splashy headline out of what is VERY preliminary research (not even tested in animals, only on cells) and that irks me.

Interesting, maybe finally they can find a use for the drug and make it legal cutting out drug dealers. Non Toxic treatment for cancer is really what is needed. I have watched many family members and friends die of cancer, and it is never pretty with all the side effects.

I think if an element of the marijuana chemical makeup can help in the fight against breast cancer, they should make a pill out of it that doesn't make you high, so that people addicted to marijuana to escape life can't find another spurious argument to cling to, to justify their drug addictive behavior.
