I was absolutely intrigued by this article! Being able to take a SMELL test to figure out if you could have a mental illness is remarkable! The associations between smells and the lighting up of certain brain parts may indicate a risk of schizophrenia, Parkinson's or even Alzheimer's. This is a very interesting study!
Very interesting article about how a simple smell test may be able to detect Schizophrenia and a variety of other brain disorders.
What an interesting article. It speaks of a way to test for schizophrenia, among other diseases, that may be signaled by lack of the ability to identify smells. Well written and easy to understand dialogue.
Fascinating that a test of smell-recognition can determine the developmental level of the brain's frontal lobes and be a predictor in whether or not a person has schizophrenia.
Very cool article. I'm interested in reading the book, "Olfaction and the Brain" now.
